In November 2007 Barloworld Scientific, home of some of the world's most famous brand names in science and laboratory equipment and consumables, was acquired by Nova Capital.
From 1 April 2008 the Barloworld Scientific business was split to form four new companies of which Bibby Scientific is one.
Nova enables corporate and financial sellers, to successfully unlock their holdings in a portfolio of companies.
